Manhunt in Montana for Former Militia Leader

An extremely dangerous man is on the loose in Montana, and police say that he will probably go down in a blaze of gunfire. And the man is okay with that and probably will welcome the possible gunfight with police.
David Burgert, a former militia leader and a well known survivalist, is in the woods in Montana. The good news is that police have a 30 mile radius surrounded. The bad thing is that Burget is armed and extremely dangerous. In fact, shots have already been fired between the man and authorities.
Missula County officials were led on a slow speed chase with Burget, which ended in a short gun fight. Then, Burgert grabbed guns and ammo out of his Jeep and tore off into the woods, firing shots back at the police to keep them at bay.
Using his wilderness skills, he quickly disappeared into the thick woods. However, sheriffs are combing the area they believe that he is in very carefully, and all members of the search party are ready for the possible gunfight.
Burgert was heard saying to the police that they will not take him down like they did before, a statement basically saying that he would die then go back to jail.
They also think the low speed chase was planned, as he led them down an old logging road that he was familiar with. Then, he shot a few shots to keep them back while he made his move.
While they feel that have him surrounded, finding someone within a 30 mile radius can be extremely difficult, especially someone with the survival skills that Burgert has. They are also not ruling out that Burgert has another vehicle hidden somewhere along the way, possibly a red or tan Jeep.
Burgert is a former leader of a group called Project 7, whose mission was to hunt out and kill local officials, go to war with the National Guard and eventually, he wanted to overthrow the federal government. Obviously, he didn’t get too far with those plans.
He has served time on some weapons charges in a federal prison and as diagnosed with having an extremely paranoid personality disorder.
Burgert was stopped for a moving violation but told cops that they would need a SWAT team to take him down, as he is not going back to jail. The chase then happened and he is still missing to this day.
