Advantages and Disadvantages of Google Adsense

Google Adsense is a very stable way of making money online from your website. Maybe you have had your website online for awhile but never put ads on because you didn’t know how or even know where to start at. That is why Adsense was created, as it allows people of all size to incorporate ads to their site in order to make some extra money.

While Adsense is a great way to make money from your website, it is not perfect of course This will tell you all the pros and cons of using Google Adsense and whether or not you should be using it for your site. I will warn you. It is not for every site, as each site has different goals and it can not achieve those goals for everyone.

For the average blog looking to make money, this is a great tool. You set up the ads and let them go. All you ever need to do is put some code in and you just let it go. Google takes care of the rest. It shows ads that people will most likely click when they are visiting your site. So that is the biggest pro definitely.

Another pro is that you can easily incorporate the ads into your site. They have lots of sizes, colors and fonts that you can use to make it flow with your site perfectly. Making the ads go with the site also will help you get a better click response, meaning more money in your pocket as well.

As long as you keep creating quality content, Adsense is an extremely stable method of earning money. Once you get going with it, the money just kinda flows in every month naturally.

One negative about Google Adsense is that Google can close your advertising account if they believe there is fraud. You can’t click your ads, so people often click on competitors ads rapidly to get it banned . This is click fraud and it is hard to combat.

Also, once someone clicks an ad on your site, they are gone forever. While you worked hard to get them to your site, it is likely they will not return now. That is fine if your goal is to rely on the income you create from ads. However, if you are trying to create other income and keep your customers, then you may want to look at some other form of advertising.
