You Should Date a Geek

Michael Cera has glamorized geek for all nerds everywhere with his Hollywood success. In fact, he probably has started to get a lot of women to start to look past perfect looks and look at the other features of guys. Nerds need love to, and most of them are great guys too.

While a geeky guy will never really be eye candy for the normal female, he may be the best boyfriend you will ever have. So, if you know a great nerdy guy who you have overlooked in the past, here are some reasons that you might want to look a bit harder at him and maybe give him a date.

1. Geeks can remember everything it seems. They know the lines to all the cult movies, like Star Wars or Monty Python. With that kind of memory, you don’t have to worry about them missing your anniversary or birthday or anything like that. Tell it to them once and it is just like putting into a computer planner!
2. Let’s say that you are the cute girl next girl that usually doesn’t date nerds. Now, you are giving him a shot and trying to truly get to know him. Do you really think that guy is now going to be unfaithful to you? Not a chance! So, you won’t have to worry about him cheating on you either.
3. You know geeks love new technology and can seem to fix anything. So, you will never have to worry about taking your laptop to a rip-off computer store or have to worry about how to upgrade to the latest version of Windows. He will do it for you and will do it with a smile on his face, just for you.
4. Almost all geeks are smart. That means you can do different things with them, like go to a museum or travel to Rome or just about anything in between. It would also be hard to find one that can’t have a smart conversation with you and really challenge you as well.
5. If you find the right nerd, the mostly have good jobs and make good money. As long as they aren’t the basement dwelling ones living with their mom and working at Staples, then I would be safe to say you are good to go with the money situation. No more supporting bums!

These are all the reasons that you should give that nerd a 2^nd look. Trust me, you will be thanking me later!
